ABOUT ME
Ive been working with photographers for over 20 years as both a Creative director and a Director of photography. I started as a Fashion Director and Producer and then worked with one photographer for close to a decade who taught me the incredible power of both still and moving pictures. I've now worked with a diverse array of amazing artist each unique in their own way. Working with photographers allows me to translate stories that I create or ones that have been graciously entrusted into my care by clients. When I am given the opportunity to add poetic interpretation to these stories my art reaches an entirely new level of depth. This depth inspires the most amazing editorials I have ever had the privilege to create with other artists. As a Director I conceptualize an idea that can speak for an intention and then choose the artist who can stylistically achieve its purpose. Photography is a form of communication that overcomes both linguistic and cultural limitations to connect us. The dreamers who aspire to translate this medium give me the opportunity to speak when my words cannot fulfill my intent.

MY WORK TAKES A TEAM
My passion for photography started while receiving my degree in Art which was rooted in photography. Photography has a fascinating history I wanted to be apart of. Soon thereafter I started as a model agent for many years, and it was an easy transition into working as a Producer and Project manager from there. Once you understand how a photo is made, and the people that are important to the process of bringing that photo to life then you can be an effective Director. Photography is not a solo sport, and I am not alone in my ability to translate my stories. I've worked with amazing talent in addition to my partner photographers- photo assistants, producers, image makers, retouchers, hair artists, wardrobe and set designers, stylists, and many others. There's a harmony that must exist between your own creative interpretation and your entire teams ability to understand your vision. When this synergy takes place, you create an effective photograph.
